CION Lighting Technologies organised Rite-Retail Illumination Technology & Energy Efficiency event
CION Lighting Technologies, a leading and renowned LED manufacturing company based in SAIF Zone in Sharjah and specialising in architectural and shop lightings, launched Rite-Retail Illumination Technology & Energy Efficiency this year, an event that focused on retail lighting design and energy efficiency.

Rite was held on May 3 at the QE2 Floating Hotel Dubai and was a huge success with retailers, contractors, architects, designers, and students from renowned universities from across the region, who gathered on this platform to learn about the latest trends and techniques in retail lighting.

The event featured a range of CION’s finest speakers from lighting advisors to lighting designers who engaged the audience and brainstormed on varied interesting subjects like, understanding the psychology of retail lighting, globally recognized retail lighting certifications and the importance of perfect lighting design that would add value to a retail brand.

Attendees learnt about the benefits of how having a good design and using a combination of products could help in reducing the luminaires in the store, hence reducing the overall power consumption. They were enlightened on how to create the ideal ambiance and a scallop-free retail store with the use of proper colour temperatures, CRI and lighting that is effectively focused on the merchandise. With CION Lighting Technologies, lighting can be more energy efficient reducing energy consumption resulting in reducing the maintenance cost and electricity bills.

The event had an interactive Q&A session, wherein all the queries from audiences were addressed with factual and practical technical data shared by our CIONs lighting experts. The event also included a range of design demonstrations along with products display. Attendees had the opportunity to see the latest lighting products and technologies in action and learnt how to use them effectively. They had the chance to network with other retailers and lighting experts and share their own experiences and insights. They were inspired by the topics discussed and left the event with a renewed enthusiasm understanding the Retail lighting Industry.
